Shires Equestrian announces Unaffiliated Show Jumping Championship with Redpin Titles

Shires Equestrian, the leading supplier of horse and rider clothing and accessories in association with Redpin Publishing have announced a new competition for unaffiliated show jumpers worth over £15,000.

Marcus Cridland Marketing Director of Shires Equestrian said “We are very excited about this sponsorship package working with Redpin Publishing across their 4 titles; we aim to support local unaffiliated riders who really enjoy their sport and put so much back into the industry”. Redpin will be organising a local show jumping series in each of their four regions in conjunction with competition and equestrian centres with fantastic prizes from the Shires Range being awarded throughout the series.

Commencing in the summer the series will progress through the autumn culminating in regional finals towards the end of the year. The overall winner in each of the regions will receive a prize package worth £500 in addition to the many prizes that will be won in the earlier rounds.

Marcus continued “We see this new series as a complement to our existing sponsorship of The Shires Wales & West Midlands Eventers’ League and other regional competitions we are supporting this year, hopefully it will encourage riders who might not have competed before to have a go and maybe we will identify some real stars for the future.”

“We are thrilled to be working with Shires with this series” said Andy Haines of Redpin Publishing “The series is targeted at our readership and we will be giving a lot of support to the series with reports, features and reviews in both our printed and online magazines. It is also a great endorsement from Shires that they recognise that we are getting our magazines to the right people”.
